Terms of service
Accounts, ordering, delivery, re-renders and refunds — including the parts that are not in your favour, stated rather than buried.

Draft
This is a working draft written in plain English. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and it should be before Jewel Reels takes its first payment. The governing law section is deliberately incomplete and needs a real answer, not a plausible-sounding one.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between Jewel Reels and the business using the service. Using the site, creating an account or placing an order means accepting them.
They cover the commercial relationship — accounts, payment, delivery and responsibility. What you may do with a video once you have it is covered separately by the license terms, and how we handle your information is covered by the privacy policy. All three apply together.
Your account
- You need an account to buy, because your logos, orders and downloads all live in it.
- Give us accurate details. If your store name is wrong on the account, it will be wrong on your invoice.
- Keep your sign-in secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, and anything downloaded from it is fingerprinted to it.
- One account per business. Sharing a login with another store is a license breach, not a shortcut.
- Tell us if you think somebody else has got into your account and we will help you close it off.
Ordering and payment
Adding a video to your cart reserves nothing and charges nothing. An order exists once payment succeeds, and that is the point at which the license begins and rendering starts.
Payment is by card through Stripe. Card details go straight from your browser to Stripe; they are never held by us. If a payment fails, no order is created and no files are built.
Prices are shown before you confirm, including any tax we are required to collect. Your receipt itemises everything for your books.
Pricing and bundle discounts
Videos are priced per video and shown clearly on each page. Bundle discounts apply automatically as you add more to the cart — there is no code to enter and no way to miss one.
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices at any time, but never retroactively: an order already placed is settled at the price you agreed.
There is no subscription, no membership, no minimum spend and nothing that renews. If you ever receive a recurring charge from us, it is a mistake and we will refund it.
Delivery
Rendering begins as soon as payment clears. Most orders complete within ten minutes; a large bundle at a busy time takes longer. We email you when the files are ready, and they appear in your account whether or not that email arrives.
You choose which of the four delivery formats you want per video, and they are included in the price rather than charged separately.
Your files remain available in your account indefinitely and can be re-downloaded as often as you like. Individual download links are deliberately short-lived for security, but you can generate a fresh one at any time with one click.
If a render fails, you are not charged for it. If a payment has been taken and files never appear, contact us with your order number and it is re-rendered or refunded.
Re-renders
Every video you buy includes three free re-renders. A re-render rebuilds your files with different branding — a new logo, a different position, a change to your text.
A re-render cannot change the footage itself. Different stones, different metal, a different shot or a different length are custom work and are quoted separately.
The allowance is per video purchased and does not expire. It exists so that a mistake made at eleven at night is not an expensive mistake.
Refunds and cancellations
Because delivery is instant, permanent and specific to your store, a correctly delivered video cannot be returned in any meaningful sense. Every video can be watched in full, watermarked, before you spend anything, and you see your own logo in place before you pay. Please use both.
We will refund without argument where the fault is ours: a file that will not play, a corrupted render, the wrong video delivered, a duplicate charge, or an order that was paid for and never produced.
We will not refund because a video did not perform as hoped, because you changed your mind after downloading, or because you bought the wrong one after previewing it.
Placement mistakes are not a refund matter — that is exactly what the three free re-renders are for, and they cost you nothing.
An order that has not yet started rendering can be canceled in full. Contact us straight away; that window is short by design.
Custom work
Custom work is quoted individually. Submitting a brief costs nothing, commits you to nothing, and does not create an order.
Production begins only once you have approved a written quote. That quote sets out what is made, what it costs, how long it takes and what license you receive, and it takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.
Nothing is delivered, and nothing is expected of you, until you have seen the work and said you are happy with it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to market anything unlawful, or to misrepresent what a customer is actually buying.
- Do not attempt to download files you have not bought, interfere with the rendering system, or probe the site for weaknesses. Report anything you find instead — we would rather hear from you than from somebody else.
- Do not scrape the catalog, capture previews, or attempt to remove watermarks from preview footage.
- Do not resell access to your account or share your sign-in with another business.
- Accounts used this way are suspended, and serious cases end the license to everything bought through them.
Availability
We aim to keep the site and the rendering system available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance happens, and providers occasionally have bad days.
If an outage delays your delivery we will get it to you as soon as we can. Where a delay makes an order genuinely useless to you — a deadline missed entirely — tell us and we will refund it.
The catalog changes. Videos are added, retired and reworked between seasons. Retiring a video never affects one you have already bought: your files and your license are unaffected.
Intellectual property
The footage, the site, and everything on it other than your own material belongs to Jewel Reels. Your logo, your text and your uploads remain entirely yours; we use them only to produce your videos.
What you receive is a license to use branded video, set out in full in the license terms. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the underlying footage.
Responsibility and its limits
We are responsible for delivering what you paid for, and for putting it right when we do not. That is a real commitment and we intend to be held to it.
We are not responsible for how a video performs commercially, for a platform muting, restricting or removing your post, for a change in how a social network works, or for losses that follow on from any of those.
Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
You remain responsible for material you supply to us, including your logo, and for any third-party claim arising from it.
Ending the relationship
You can stop using the service at any time; there is nothing to cancel. You can ask us to close your account, and the privacy policy explains what is deleted and what has to be kept.
Closing your account does not cancel licenses you have already bought, and it does not entitle you to a refund of past orders. It does mean you lose access to re-download those files, so take copies first.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the license. Where it is possible to warn you first, we will.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Jewel Reels is registered, and disputes are dealt with in the courts of that jurisdiction.
The specific state and country are to be confirmed with counsel before launch and stated here in full. Leaving it vague would not be doing you a favour, so it is flagged rather than fudged.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are emailed to account holders rather than left to be discovered.
An order already placed is governed by the terms in force when you placed it.
The other two documents
The license terms cover what you may do with a video once you own it. The privacy policy covers what we hold about you and why. If anything across the three contradicts anything else, tell us — that is a drafting error, not a trap.
